Looking around in the custom permissions, it looks like I can set global permission for the folder to allow permissions to the "owner". However, I don't want the remote user to be able to alter/delete/encrypt the other backups in that folder. For organizational purposes, I would like for this backup to be in the backup folder with the rest of my local backups. I have an offsite nas that I back up to the local nas. Make sure the permissions for the files or folders are not set to Read only.
Trying to keep all the backups in a single backup share. If you are not an administrator, ask an administrator to check the files permission settings for you.
